erymer Posted November 22, 2003 Posted November 22, 2003 I had one part of the my web as a sub web. - I now want to place it into my main web as a folder to keep the same URL - but when I go to publish FP sees the folder as a sub web - I've tried deleting the folder on the server and republishing - but it still comes up with an error when I'm publishing - I assuming there is some file which identifies it as a sub web - any idea where that file is and how to I can remove the sub web designation from my server files so I can get the sub web into my main web. Lianna Posted November 22, 2003 Posted November 22, 2003 Planning your FrontPage webs and subwebs One unexpected problem with FrontPage 98 is that the server extensions incorrectly identify all directories under the root web directory as subwebs. This can cause problems when trying to manage more than one FrontPage web in a single account, because FrontPage can incorrectly think that one web is a subweb of another. What version of Frontpage are you using? Quote
erymer Posted November 28, 2003 Author Posted November 28, 2003 Using Front page 2000 - I previously had the folder as a sub web. When I switched over to TCH I incorporated it into my main web. Then I mistakenly update some files and update from the sub web folder. oops. Now I need to know how to undesignated it as a sub web. Quote
