I made a mistake by deleating my default template and I remember there was some code located in it that said don't edit or something to that effect. I was wondering if someone could check out there default tempate in the c panel and post what it is so I can add it?

Also, do I need to place the cgi script that they give in th cgi-bin or just place it in the html of my webpage?

Do you know the name of the template? I think if I am right they are php files, if you could get me that name then I will see if I can get it

You need to keep the files in the CG-BIN.

This is all that's in mine....I'm not using the simple guestbook, but following your steps, this is what is displayed:

><html>
<title>Default Template</title>
<body bgcolor="#FFFFFF">

<!--- Don't modify the cgi tag --->
<cgi>
<!--- Don't modify the cgi tag --->

</body
</html>

Hope that helps.
