My last provider put their name in front of what I wanted for free, which is fine for me. My site is just a recreational site and I pay a monthly fee for more space, but I do not want to pay for my domain name. Any thoughts? Thanks, Griffin Quote
TCH-Dick Posted November 2, 2003 Posted November 2, 2003 If you dont register a domain name your url will look something like www.serverxx.totalchoicehosting.com/~username (xx being the server number) When signing up you HAVE to put in a domain name or it wont let you continue, so put in a domain name that you might someday want to register (the domain name is what determines your username.)
