Serena-chan Posted October 16, 2003 Posted October 16, 2003 I'm not entirely sure this really goes here but I guess it does have to do with my site... anyways I wanted to host some zip files on my site for visitors to download. Only after I uploaded them and such they don't work. Or well it claims they aren't there, but they are. So um what the heck am I doing wrong here? I mean it works fine on my computer but not on the net... so I must not be doing something. ~Serena-chan Quote
Head Guru Posted October 16, 2003 Posted October 16, 2003 Can you share a link with us so we can see what the problem might be? Thanks Quote
Serena-chan Posted October 16, 2003 Author Posted October 16, 2003 Oopps... That might help probably... *laughs* here is said link... http://www.bitofhappiness.com/purity/purity.html And actually I've even tried eliminating the spaces in the name of the zip files and that didn't seem to have any effect. They are all in the same folder as the html file so I just don't know. ~Serena-chan Quote
Serena-chan Posted October 16, 2003 Author Posted October 16, 2003 Nevermind... I figured out just what the heck I was doing wrong. I had forgetton that when you upload the html it will change the link names all to lowercase. So it was pointing to file names that were all lowercase while the actually file names had uppercase characters. Once I did some renaming it worked perfectly. It scares me how something so simple could trip me up... ~Serena-chan Quote
