slcrotary Posted October 11, 2003 Posted October 11, 2003 Well I have an error saying that I exceeded my bandwidth. I don't remember ever receiving an email when I was at 80% but oh well. Now that its suspended can I get it reactivated by upgrading? I need my site up asap. Also where do I look to see what cause it? Last time I checked, I was fine on bandwidth. Please help, I have lots of people that rely on this site. THanks Shep http://www.slcrotary.com OK, I talked to someone, and he suggested that I open a ticket to the sales dep. I still would like to know what log file to look into to see what caused this. Quote
borfast Posted October 11, 2003 Posted October 11, 2003 Hi slcrotary. Go to your cpanel and then click the Awstats link. It has lots of statistics, including which files were downloaded more, by each IPs, etc... Quote
slcrotary Posted October 11, 2003 Author Posted October 11, 2003 When I opened a ticket they found that a search engine called rotary-search-engine.com was using 9.5 GBs. Is there any way to block them from accessing my site? Quote
TCH-Rick Posted October 11, 2003 Posted October 11, 2003 You can log into your Cpanel and add their IP address in the IP Deny section. That should do it. I will PM you the IP address that was accessing the site. Quote
