rayates55 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 I recently updated my local server (WAMP) and it installed MySQL 5.7.14. That has some additional restrictions to the mysql_mode that were not in MySQL 5.6 and it meant that many of my queries failed. I can use SET SESSION sql_mode in my connection script to fix this. All of the TCH servers that I have sites on are still using version 5.6 so they all run fine. Are there any plans or schedules for upgrading the MySQL versions to 5.7? It would be nice to know in advance, if possible. Quote
TCH-Bala Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 we do not have upgrade plans for it right away. These will be adopted as and when cpanel makes it default. Quote
