Hello. I currently am looking for a new web/email host due to the constant problems of our current host in terms of uptime. Judging by the uptime results for your company, this would be a significant upgrade for our organization.

The needs of my organization (Kings River Conservation District) are rather small. We currently have a Website that is being re-designed by a local company here in Fresno, California. We have been told that the Website will only be 10-20MB in size when complete, and uses some PHP scripting. In addition, we have approximately 50-60 email accounts that will need to be transferred over.

Judging by the plans offered, it looks like the best plan for our needs is the Gold Plan. While this may seem like overkill for right now, it will allow us to grow in the future.

My questions revolve around services available, as well as the transfer of our current domain. Can your technicians assist in the transfer of the current domain and all email accounts from our old webhost? In addition, can the technicians assist in the transfer of Domain Registration?

In terms of current services available, do you offer any virus scanning and/or SPAM blocking utilities for email messages on the server end?

Again, we are a very basic organization. The most important thing is that when our director wants to receive or send an email, we do not have any problems with outages. Thanks in advance for the answers to these questions.

You shouldn't have any problems hosting with us, and it sounds like you've made a good call on your choice of plan. If your current host provides you with a cPanel then yes we will be able to move over your current account status and emails over that way, just open up a help desk ticket after your new account is set up and ready.

On the spam fight front, all new accounts come installed with Spam Assassin, which will help you filter out your spam. You may transfer your domain by going to our domain name registration page, and click on the transfer link. From there, you will be walked through the steps. Hope that covers everything!

That unfortunately is the problem. Our current web/email host is quite behind the times, and does not have any CPanel Software available. Any time we need to create a new email account, we have to email the sys admin for the web host! Obviously, this is a big reason why we would like to change. Without CPanel Software on the other end, is there still help available in terms of performing the move? Thanks!
