Samrc Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 A terrific, simple Windows Backup Launch Utility that is free was made by a CSB user Cary Thomas. The product is BLAUNCH and can be downloaded here: http://www.blaunch.us.tt/ Everytime you open that important file, it makes a backup (up to 999 versions can be stored) so if it gets damaged in anyway you can go back to a previous version. "BLaunch.exe only backs up a document file at launch, then blaunch closes - it does not backup during edit of the document." I did a search for 6 months and did not see that this program has already been posted. Hope I am not repeating.... -Samantha Quote

KevinW Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 Thanks, Sam, for the post. As an addendum -- the BLaunch utility is not just for CuteSITE Builder users -- it can be used for virtually ANY application where you may make changes to a file, and need to be able to maintain a historical record of such changes. For example - let's say you use an Excel spreadsheet to track daily sales figures. You could use BLaunch to create a shortcut on your desk that would automatically make a backup copy of your .xls file for you, and then automatically open the current version in Excel for you. -kw Quote
