I just attempted registering a new domain name yesterday.

Very soon after, I got an email saying this:

 

"The following domain name has failed to be registered:

 

CLEVER-LINES.ORG

 

Error: PendSetup: Could not get contacts needed for adding domain.

Command failed

java.sql.SQLException(java.sql.SQLException: ERROR: dtoi4: integer out of range

)

 

We will evaluate this error and retry the registration if appropriate.

 

If we are unable to successfully register the domain name, your account will be

credited accordingly. Please allow one business day for the refund to be

processed.

 

Please contact TotalChoice Hosting if you need any further assistance."

 

 

 

What is up with this? Since then, I have been able to log into FTP and my CPanel, and access the site that is the site I'm supposed to use until the domain name has propagated, etc... but still nothing at http://www.clever-lines.org.

 

Anyone who knows anything about this, I would appreciate your input!

 

I know it's only been a day but I'm antsy.

I see your domain at several registars,

like www.internic.net/whois.html

Name Server:NS1.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM

 

It can take as long as three days for all the isp's around the world to update their name servers,

so all you can do now is wait.

Sometimes a new domain name will propagate sooner.
