Mellman Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 I am getting ready to purchase a few domains, and was hoping i'd be able to host all of them under one hosting plan. Is this possible? and are there any problems with that? the reason i ask is because two of the domains are not used very often, but cannot be under a subdomain of each other, or the other accounts. One larger hosting package would be more efficient then 3 smaller ones in my opinion. Thanks in advance, we've already got one package from TCH, and looking to get this one soon! Quote
TCH-Rob Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 (edited) If I am reading this correct then no. Each separate domain has to have its own account, since you arent parking or using subdomains. Your best bet would be a reseller package. Unless you were using 3 of the $4 plans but then you sacrifice ease of management over them by having separate Control Panels. Also from this thread read the post from HG What we would not allow is for you to point a seperate domain name to any other portion of your site including your subdomains. Although you dont want to use subdomains that quote I think is the answer to your question. Please clarify if I am wrong in reading your question. Edited August 27, 2003 by Critical Mass Quote
Mellman Posted August 27, 2003 Author Posted August 27, 2003 yeap that answers my questions, i'll have to look into a ressellers account...thanks for the response. Another hosting company allows multiple domains to be hosted off one plan. But you dont have to convince me TCH is a good company, i've had a positive experience with them so far. Quote
