bmcg Posted August 24, 2003 Posted August 24, 2003 Hi, I tried to transfer my Cpanel site hosted elsewhere to my total choice hosted site, by creating a backup and loading it to the new site. I guess that isn't the way to do it. I would appreciate instructions on how to do this. Thanks! Quote
TCH-Andy Posted August 24, 2003 Posted August 24, 2003 Hi, Creating a backup on your old site, and then restoring it here should work. However, if you want to submit a ticktet to the help deck giving all your current acount details, and the details (domain or IP address, username, password) for the old site we'll do our best to move it over for you. bmcg Posted August 29, 2003 Author Posted August 29, 2003 I am still having problems moving the site. (I am feeling not to smart, to say the least) When I upload it, it looks like its working. But then I don't know what to do next, am I supposed to open it further? I really want to learn how to do this. I have this message on the back up page of my totalchoice hosted site "cPanel System Backup is not enabled on this machine. Some other type of backup system may be in place, however downloads cannot be fetched using this module." Could this affect my trying to upload the backup file? I don't have this message on my site that is hosted elsewhere. Assistance is greatly appreciated! Quote
