Mrs. Muddled Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 What exactly is NOT restored if I do a system restore? I've change the standard login names ... only mine didn't disappear with the MS fix. Would those login user names go back to what they were before I changed them yesterday? What about my husband's emails? Would all those old folders ie sent, delete, other saved folders come back? I've changed a ton of stuff to do with my USERS. I've made different login names. Had to re-sign up three users with our ISP. Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Personally I have my system restore feature disabled since I find it unneeded mostly, but as far as I know anything installed before a certain date/time will be untouched (providing a system restore point has been made) but the rest will go so to speak.
