glamorouscreations Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 I am wanting a good diagnostic site or program to run on my pc to help determine rather it needs to rid of old junk files that arent being used or anything else to help releieve harddrive space and so forth, if anyone knows what I can use please tell me thank you. CCleaner Glary Utilities Duplicate File Finder Those are just a few of what's available. Do a Google search for PC cleanup utilities I'm sure you will find others. Quote
nortk Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 I agree with Bruce's CCleaner suggestion. Also, I am not a fan of having a lot of unnecessary processes running in the background which could be weakening my computer's performance. So, I always have WinPatrol running to keep an eye on things. It lets you figure out which processes, services, and startup programs are necessary, and which are not. Quote
