MRM4TN Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 My account was suspened on Monday for high memory usage. It appears my forum was, and still is, causing a huge memory drain on the TCH server my site is on. I am still trying to resolve the high memory usage, but have not found a source as of yet. The forum is running at 85-97% memory usage, which is ridiculously high. I need to get this corrected before my site is suspended again, or even removed. But I can't find the problem. Any suggestions would be extremely helpful. Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Which forum software/script are you using (ipb, Simple Machines, vBulletin etc? Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 I would start by disabling the last mod you added to your forum. If you were not having issues before that it could be the cause. Quote
MRM4TN Posted November 12, 2008 Author Posted November 12, 2008 It is SMF. I disabled one mod. It helped some (got the memory down to 73%), but it shot back up later in the day. Quote
