Hi,

Not sure where this goes... I need to be able to let someone upload a Word document to a folder I create on my website. Here's the thing, they need to do it without any ftp clients. They need to navigate to a page that has an "Upload" button that pops up the "Browse" and "Submit" buttons.

Where is tarnations do I figure out how to do that?

Thanks,

RickB

You will need a script of some sort to allow the upload if you don't want to use FTP. I would start with hotscripts.com with my search for a script. One thing to keep in mind when adding upload scripts. You are responsible for the content on your site. Letting people annonymously upload files is never a good idea.

Why don't you just have them email the file to you? Have them change the extension to .do_ or something.

Oddly enough, he doesn't have e-mail. The only Internet connection he has is a browser. Just though of something...what about one of the free file transfer services? That would probably work as this is a one-time deal...I hope. Google shows too many to even think about...any suggestions?

Thanks, Rick

How could he not have an email address with an internet connection (unless he's using an internet cafe)?

Anyway, yes one of the file sharing services should work (unless you have to supply an email address to use it).
