kf4zmt Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 How can you eliminate the annoying "Domain Name Mismatch" warning message regarding security certificates (see attachment)? This message appears when sending email on port 465 because the domain name of the mail server and the domain name in the certificate are different. On a related note, can you encrypt IMAP connections? I'd like for my email to be secure when reading and when sending. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Replace your outgoing server name with the name on the certificate. You can use port 993 for secure IMAP and port 465 for secure SMTP. Quote
