Hey guys,

First off, I apologize if I am posting this in the wrong section. Second, I've been completely happy for many years with TCH and always recommend it to anyone looking for a great hosting company. ;) You guys rock.

I don't run into many problems but when I do, I can usually find the answer by doing a search in the forums. However, I'm not having much luck this week.

I'm trying to replace (overwrite) an image within a folder. I keep getting the permission denied error. Although the properties are at 755, every time I try to change them to 777 it keeps switching it back.

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong? I've never had this problem before. Thanks in advance for all your help, guys!

The ownership of files/folders will be under Apache (nobody) for the files or folders created through scripts (other than ftp). On shared server, a user cannot modify or change the permission of Apache owned files or folders. If you need to reset the ownership, just post a ticket to the help desk.

Hey Alex, thanks for the fast response.

So, I guess I just need to reset the ownership to me?

I've been trying to figure this out for a while now. I thought it was something I was doing, haha. I'm submitting a ticket to help desk now. Thanks again, Alex!
