esr Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Can anyone tell me why I am unable to send email to certain domains? I tried using my domainname as my mail server, mail.ebaysellersresource.com and my Eudora program would be barely let me do anything. So, I changed it to my internet provider's mail server, mail.roadrunner.com and still, many emails I try to send just give me a "550 relaying mail to domain.com is not allowed." I suppose I understand if it's to a site like aol.com, but my mother's employer? I'm not allowed to send email to their tiny little domain? Doesn't make sense. Can anyone explain this? Thanks. TCH-Bruce Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 If you are unable to send email from your domain or road runner to certain domains it's possible that the domain you are sending to is not valid. I have domains hosted here and use road runner for my home internet service and have not had any issues sending email to anyone. In your cPanel select Email Delivery Route and enter and email address. It will show the route it will take to deliver email. Quote
