Err..... I have look through the entire list but can't really figure out where this question should go to......

I have a forum application add-on in which they have an index.htm being placed in \geek\gars\cache\0. I was able to see this folder and file through my FTP program but when I went to the file manager in cpanel, it shows that this was a null folder and that there's nothing in it. I am also not able to change the folder permission as it will prompt me that folder does not exist.

How can I go about resolving this? This folder (and the file in there) is needed by the add-in that I am using.

I have added a screen capture for reference. The highlighted portion should be folder 0 but there isn't any folder name shown.

Thanks in advance for all help provided.

If I understand you correct...

If you can see it in the ftp program, can you also change permissions through the ftp or did you only try changing them through cpanels file manager?

If you can change the permissions through the ftp program, does it work as expected then?

Is the folder "hidden". I am thinking that the ftp program may be set to show hidden files and folders while cpanel is not.

If it works as expected in the ftp and the folder is not hidden, please open a ticket and ask the techs to look into it.
