Friddle Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Hey guys, I'm a little confused. Recently all of my websites that I'm hosting under my reseller accounts stopped working. I contacted technical support and they informed me i had the wrong DNS servers on each domain. Has TCH recently changed the DNS servers for some of their servers? I cant understand how all of my websites worked for years, and then all of a sudden just stopped working. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Welcome to the forums Friddle Is it possible your domains are on a server that was recently migrated to the TCH NOC? The mods don't have access to your account info but do you know what server your sites are (were) on? Quote
Friddle Posted February 1, 2008 Author Posted February 1, 2008 (edited) Thanks for the response! I don't have that info right now because i cant access any of my domain names the DNS servers are still propagating. I will post it up as soon as i find out.. If it is the case that the servers were moved, shouldn't they warn the customers? instead, my domain's just stop working and I'm left to try figure out whats wrong? TCH-Bruce Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Well you need to be subscribed to your server's forum to be notified of any changes. If you are on a server that was moved that would explain it. If you are not then I don't know why they would have changed. Once you find out which server you are on I recommend that you subscribe to that server's forum so you don't miss any notifications. Quote
mike Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Bruce, can you check to see if I am subscribed to my server info? ( 345 ) When I click on subscribe there I get an error page. thanks Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Mike I have corrected the link. To see if you are subscribed to a particular forum go into your user control panel (My Controls above) and under subscriptions select View Forums, it will show you which forums you are subscribed too. Quote
mike Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Duh. I am already subscribed. thanks, Bruce Quote
