boxturt Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Greetings, Title pretty much says it all. I am considering expanding/adding some advertising on one of my sites. Silly question perhaps but one can't be too careful. If I serve pop-unders (cringe) it will be the ad network's bandwidth that gets socked right? Also I'm looking for a good network to serve these ads. They need to be entry and/or exit triggered and less than full size if possible. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks ty Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 If I serve pop-unders (cringe) it will be the ad network's bandwidth that gets socked right? It should be since the content is not coming from your TCH account. One thing to have in mind though is that lots of people today are doing whatever they can to block ads including pop up/under windows, so there is a big chance/risk that they might not see the ad. Personally I hate to see that a new window have opened up under the only window I thought I had open. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 I'm with Thomas on this one. I block all ads possible. If I am interested in buying/learning anything I know how to search for it. Quote
boxturt Posted September 17, 2007 Author Posted September 17, 2007 I agree and can't stand the ads myself. I may just add banners I'm not really sure. The site is high traffic and I'd like to take full advantage of it's potential. Thanks. Quote
