jberg Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I have several clients on Total Choice Hosting. In the past I always just went to www.domainname.com/stats to see the statistics report. Now I get nothing on all accounts. What happened? How do I access the stats without going through Cpanel? More importantly, how do I have my clients access stats withouth using cpanel? thanks. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Hi, the information can be found on the help site. Quote
jberg Posted August 14, 2007 Author Posted August 14, 2007 Thanks Bruce. So it this something new? I have about 50 clients on Total Choice. I have to do this on each account? Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 It's been there for a couple of years. You will have to intall it on each site you wish to give access too. Quote
jberg Posted August 15, 2007 Author Posted August 15, 2007 Hmm, I thought I remember the stats just always being there automatically, with no configuration. Anyway. I'm trying to install this script and it's not working. I keep getting prompt for username and password and after 3 attemps it fails "Authorization Required". I have tried it on several accounts with different domains, usernames and passwords. Always the same result. Failure. Even the same result when I try using Firefox. I've checked and rechecked usernames and passwords. Any ideas? I'm able to access the stats at http://****:2082/awstats.pl Then it prompts for cpanel username and password and works the first time. Do you see any problem with giving this address to clients to retrieve stats? Thanks for your help. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 If you installed the zip file as the help page describes you should be accessing it like this: http://www.yoursite.com/stats Otherwise you access the stats through cPanel. Quote
