Before the upgrade, I had email filters that moved my messages to a particular mail folder depending on certain criteria. Something simple like:

$h_X-Spam-Status: begins "Yes" /home/username/mail/domain/folder/Junk E-mail

(where Junk E-mail is the mbox file) worked great.

I tried updating the tail end my prepending "Junk E-mail" with a "." (to reflect the new state of affairs with the directories, and unsurprisingly this didn't work. What is the easiest way to setup these folders right.

As a side note, I suspect I have about a month's worth of email sitting in the old mbox files that I'd like converted to the new structure. Is this something I can do myself, or need I open a ticket?

Thanks for the help.

Sounds like it´s ticket time.

Seriously? Even to set up the filters? I would rather manage my own filters than have to contact support each time I want to add or remove one. Sort of defeats the purpose of CPanel otherwise.

For converting the files, as Thomas says, a ticket is the best way to go.

For the filters ... I'd create the folder in webmail first (because that will get all your structure sorted) and then you should be able to filter and move.

Are you really trying to filter to "Junk E-mail" where you have a space and capital letters?

I would create a new folder using Squirrelmail called "myjunk" or something similar and then create a filter similar to this.

Yes, I ment ticket time for the conversion, but also for the filter problem in a way since I was thinking that paths etc might have changed that the help desk people would know more about than we here in the forum, but I see Bruce knew the answer. :)
