TCH-Don Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Welcome to the forums and the family you have Domain servers in listed order: NS1.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM NS2.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM DNS3.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM you should only have two In your welcome email you will find the correct name servers to use. Your domain has propagated so I would guess the first two are what you need. Quote
bigdog Posted March 30, 2007 Author Posted March 30, 2007 thanks for the welcome all I know is I can not access with domain name and could not quite figure out if that was the way it was to look, since it is a third party domain service maybe I am in the wrong place maybe I should of bought it somewhere else. also how could you tell it propagated ? TCH-Don Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 I can see your space by going to your domain name. Since you just set up the domain 2 days ago its normal for you to not see it right away. It can take up to 72 hours for all the IPS's to update their name servers. You should start to see it tomorrow. Be sure to read your welcome email for the correct nameservers and modify them with the link from the email you got when you bought the domain name. Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Welcome to the forum, bigdog. Since this is a propagation issue and therefor sort of resolved I have removed the image link from your post since it contained user sensitive data. Please do not post user names, password, email adresses and such things in the forum. Quote
bigdog Posted March 30, 2007 Author Posted March 30, 2007 (edited) thanks all for the welcome, propagation ? the domain worked last night but this am it does not is this normal ? Edited March 30, 2007 by bigdog Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Yes, it is quite normal. ISP's use serveral DNS servers. Sometimes they do not all update at the same time. Depending on which DNS server you are hitting will depend on whether or not your site will be available until all the DNS servers update. Quote
