jlangner Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 I get the following error: "The converter detected that your host has open_basedir enabled on this server. Please ask your host to disable this setting or try moving the contents of your Simpleboard 1.0 and 1.1 to the public html folder of your site." I am pretty sure the open_basedir would not be changed to disable, but is there another workaround? I really hate to lose my forum data. The convertor is the Simpleboard convertor: http://www.simplemachines.org/download/?converters My site: http://www.thedragonblades.com Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Welcome to the forum, jlangner. I checked out the official SMF forum and for a similar problem, the solution seems to be: ...the converter was not able to open the phpBB config file. Try checking permissions. So it seems to be worth checking the config files permission. Quote

TCH-Andy Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 It looks like the efficient help desk staff dealt with it in under 10 mins - and before I got to it - well done Tina Quote
