TCH-Andy
Hi gpratomo, welcome to our forums The simple answer of course is that you will have to upload it (via FTP) into the cgi-bin directory if the host will not allow it outside of that directory. I suspect that the program will use ports that the host has blocked though, so even if you upload it, it will not function correctly. You really need to talk through it with your current host. TCH-Don
Welcome to the forum, gpratomo I would tackle the user / password problem first check the file you edited to make sure of the case and spelling of the user / password.
gpratomo
Welcome to the forum, gpratomo I would tackle the user / password problem first check the file you edited to make sure of the case and spelling of the user / password. For user/password is correct because before I use the script on my friend host and working well but after I try to upload on my host didn't work. Maybe different webhosting system. I've talk to my host and they answer my script can execute anywhere but they prefered on /cgi-bin and upload it (via FTP). My filedir on script I write "/var/www/vhost/jalawaskita.com/cgi-bin" (the path of cgi-bin that I get from my host). And I have permission from my host to make directory only on /jalawaskita.com, can't up level After I try several combination URL http://www.jalawaskita.com/cgi-bin/netgps.pl http://www.jalawaskita.com/cgi-bin/netgps....e&pw=bloggs'>http://www.jalawaskita.com/cgi-bin/netgps....e&pw=bloggs http://www.jalawaskita.com/cgi-bin/netgps....202,11.8,E,S*07 http://www.jalawaskita.com/cgi-bin/netgps....e&pw=bloggs http://www.jalawaskita.com/cgi-bin/netgps....amp;pw=bloggs33 has some error message URL #1 produced this error: GPSERROR:Incorrect password/unknown username.: URLs #2, #4, and #5 produced this error: GPSERROR:Proc error: RCV-FN1: URL #3 produced this error: GPSERROR:{Proc error: REM-FN1: Edited December 13, 2006 by TCH-Thomas Deactivated links
TCH-Thomas
I would either go check with whoever wrote the netgps script/software or change host.
