kfosterm Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 Okay...far-fetched, but hang with me. At home I have a dial-up connection (country living has it's drawbacks) At work I have broadband. Work blocks stuff from download.com and other shareware sites. What I want to do is, from home, direct 'downloads' to an ftp site I control. Then I can download from ftp on broadband work connection. Am I making sense? Thanks. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 I have never heard of downloading to a remote location as you are describing. Check out snapfiles.com from work. They have a lot of the same content as download.com. Or access the download sites though a proxy server while at work. Quote
