TCH-Don Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 You cannot download databases by ftp You can go to cpanel > backup and click on the name of the database to download a compressed file later if you need to restore that copy, go to cpanel > backup > upload database, browse to the file you downloaded and it is restored. While you are in cpanel > backup you can download the home directory backup this is a compressed file that has ALL of your web site files That file can be opened by a zip file manager to pull out separate files or in cpanel > backup you can restore that file in the place (upload home directory) Quote
