metalfork Posted June 21, 2003 Posted June 21, 2003 I'm on server 26. When I created a backup today, the name of the backup looked something like this: backup-5.21.2003_03-09-40_username.tar.gz It looks as if the date in the file name is incorrect. I am reading it correctly right? (It is June, the sixth month?) Also, what do the numbers after the date stamp represent? Final question: Can a backup still be made even when your site is near the quota and the resulting backup would run over the quota for your account? (Is there a temp max size larger than the quota?) TIA, Aaron Quote
TCH-Andy Posted June 21, 2003 Posted June 21, 2003 Not sure that I can add much, but this has bee discussed before in this thread This thread, and yes, it does show the wrong date I just use the simple technique of copying it to my hard disk and renaming it As to the other questions, I'l leave it for someone who knows rather than me guessing Andy Quote
Lianna Posted June 21, 2003 Posted June 21, 2003 Final question: Can a backup still be made even when your site is near the quota and the resulting backup would run over the quota for your account? (Is there a temp max size larger than the quota?) If that backup puts you over your limit, then you're over. No temp, because the file would not automagically be removed, putting you lower than your limit. Quote
