zwb Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 Hi! I accidently deleted my database. Therefore, I tried to restore with my back up file but it does not work. I tried both way. Right now, I have .sql file so I compressed with win-gz and tried to upload with backup at cpanel. However, it did not work. In addition, I also tried import file at phpMyadmin. But, it keep said error message. It said I don't have the privilege to create a database. I am the website admin and don't I have previlege to create the database? Anyway, both ways are not working right now. I don't want extra pay backup service. Please help me how to restore with .sql file. I attacted .sql file for my database. Please take a look at this. Thank you. Edit: TCH-Bruce - removed the attachment Quote

TCH-Don Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Welcome to the forums zwb In the future you can make a database back in cpanel > backup > download database this creates a compressed file and then if needed you can upload it later in the same place. Quote
