wampthing Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 OK, I have set up a site for my family to upload photos to. Everyone but one brother uses windows which has the handy dandy XP_publish.php file. No problems there. I ran across http://www.zzamboni.org/copperexport/ which will allow mac users to upload their photos to via IPhoto. I passed the link on to my brother and we haven't had any luck. I have updated Coppermine to 1.43 He is using IPhoto 5.0 We are pointing the upload address to the www.jensenconnection.com/photos/xp_publish.php, but we are getting a 406 error (we have also tried www.jensenconnection.com/photos/xp_publish.php?cmd=publish but is says to go to the base url). If there are any kind hearted Mac users out there, I would love all of the help you have. By the Power of Grey Skull! Help me out. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Have you tried leaving off the xp_publish.php? Base URL would not include any PHP file. Quote
wampthing Posted February 1, 2006 Author Posted February 1, 2006 I have. I entered www.jensenconnection.com/photos and got nothing. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 www.jensenconnection.com/photos/ Note the trailing slash. If that doesn't work I'd recommend contacting the author and ask. When you find what works, please post back in case others try this and need the solution. Quote
wampthing Posted February 3, 2006 Author Posted February 3, 2006 I have gone to the author of the script, and he asked for the server logs. As I am unfamiliar with that, I wanted to check with TCH to see what kind of security risks there are. I have down loaded the raw access logs (I assume that is what he was referring to), but have no Idea how to read them to see what kind of information I am passing on. Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Sorry that no one seems to know the answer to this but please do not bump the thread. Have you checked in Coppermines own forum if anyone have ran in to same problem and its eventual solution etc? Quote
wampthing Posted February 15, 2006 Author Posted February 15, 2006 Just an update here (most definitely not a "BUMP") I have gotten everything to work on a site hosted somewhere else. I am still looking for the cause of the problem here at TCH. Funny thing is, if you do a Google search for "coppermine error 406" the number one link is to this thread here of me getting in trouble by TCH-Thomas. (I am still amazed that no one here would know if it is a security risk for me to let another person go through my raw access logs.) and so I trudge on. Ill let you know what I find out. Quote
TCH-Andy Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 If you open a ticket, and PM (or IM) me the ref number, I'll take a quick look for you. Quote
