For all of you out there running SMF 1.0.5, an update to 1.0.6 has been made available. SMF can easily be updated from the Admin panel, so it should be fairly straight-forward.

and it only took a minute to upgrade in the package manager

A while back I audited the directory tree of my account and changed everything that was chmod 777 to 755 or lower. So I hit a bit of a snag which required me to manually upload the files in the /Sources directory, but other than that no big deal.

I changed mine back to 777 just for the update

then back to 755.
