surfdean Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Hey all, I thought that at one time I was able to download the raw log for the current month, i.e. trying to download September's today, but I can only get one day at a time... Is there a way to get September's log? I'm trying to figure out some strange stats from the awstats page, i.e. 44 visits to a php script page that no one has any business browsing to, but that is used in a form for email. thoughts? TIA< dean Quote
TCH-Andy Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Hi Dean, You should get the complete month, rather than the last day, if you are downloading the raw log file from cpanel (or via FTP). If these are not giving you the month to date, open a ticket, and we'll take a look. Quote
TCH-Don Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 If the form script is in the action tag of your form it is visible and there will always be some one trying to see how secure it is. Quote

Pardon the naivete I guess I'll just hope the script is secure...it's dodosmail. dean If the form script is in the action tag of your formit is visible and there will always be some one trying to see how secure it is. We just need a way to contact you that is not one of your domain accounts. Quote
TCH-Don Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Is there a way to *not* have the script in the action tag? Not that I know of. And yes Dodosmail is secure. And be sure you edit the dosmail.php file and put your e-mail in it and not use the hidden field method in the form or you are exposing your e-mail addy. Quote
surfdean Posted October 1, 2005 Author Posted October 1, 2005 Rob: Okay, I downloaded the log, but via my ftp program. When I go through CPanel>Raw Access Logs, I only get one day. But since I have it now and know how, I won't bother with a ticket. Don: Whew. Glad That Dodo isn't such a dodo Quote
