abinidi Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Dangit. I knew I was going to have problems. Ok. I downloaded the phpBB 2.0.17 changed files. I extracted the 2.0.16 to 2.0.17 and uploaded all the files to my webserver. My forum is (was?) located at http://bookclub.pehrsonfamily.net so I went to http://bookclub.pehrsonfamily.net/install/...e_to_latest.php and I get an error. When I try to open the bookclub main page I get an error too. I broke it!! Now what do I do? (We need an emoticon for tears pouring out of my eyes) Quote

abinidi Posted July 20, 2005 Author Posted July 20, 2005 I figured out what I did wrong. I didn't extract the files properly, so I lost the folder structure (duh!) Then I uploaded all the files to the same directory. I know better than that. Oh well. I've almost fixed everything again. I'm SO GLAD I did a backup of my database before I started. I would have been really sad if I hadn't!! But all is better now. Quote
