TCH-Thomas Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 Since sometime early evening yeasterday my time I have not been able to access my Gmailbox. I can view the frontpage, enter my info and when I have logged in only a blank page shows up. I have tried it on other computers than mine with same result. In I.E it works great. Anyone else experiencing same problem? Quote
TweezerMan Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 I don't have a gmail account, but it appears to be a common problem that doesn't have just a single (or definite) solution. Some suggested options to try: 1) When the blank page loads, try hitting F5 (Refresh) and see if that will make the page load. 2) Delete your internet cache and cookies, then try logging in again. 3) Try logging into your account at: >https://gmail.google.com/gmail (note the https) 4) Add gmail.com as a trusted site to whatever firewall application you're using on your computer. Hope this helps... Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted July 1, 2005 Author Posted July 1, 2005 Thanks David. The https solution worked. Now, why didn´t I think of searching google for it? Can it be that it was a google problem? Quote
Deverill Posted July 2, 2005 Posted July 2, 2005 Thomas, I have that problem a lot if I go to read an email and then hit the back button instead of clicking on "Inbox". Other than that it's usually not a problem... just stay away from the normal back and forward buttons. Glad the Https worked - I may have to try that myself to see if it fixes my back button. Quote
