chadf Posted May 5, 2003 Posted May 5, 2003 I noticed today that when I send email to my Lotus Notes email account at work, the email is addressed from either cpanel@server24.totalchoicehosting.com (using Horde) or my domain name@server24.totalchoicehosting.com (using neomail). All other email I receive at work appears to have the correct addresses. When I send email to my Yahoo! email account from webmail, Yahoo! shows the proper From: address (chad@my domain name.com). And when I send email from Outlook Express (using the same account) to my work it also has the correct From: address (chad@my domain name.com). So I'm only seeing the problem on email from webmail goint to my Lotus Notes email acct. If this problem happens to any emails that I send out to other people, they cannot reply to my emails. Has anyone seen this before? Chad Quote
twowheels Posted May 5, 2003 Posted May 5, 2003 This happens to me when I e-mail my cellphone using the webmail interface. Quote

chadf Posted May 6, 2003 Author Posted May 6, 2003 FSUChucky3, 1) By webmail script, do you mean horde or neomail? If so, I am primarily using horde, but in my original message you'll see that I am getting a different variation of the problem with each of them. 2) I have only a few users, and I have only had the account for about a week - so no, no other problems have been reported. 3) I will try emailing you directly. I don't see in your original message where you noted the variation of problems between a horde-sent email and a neomail-sent email. The way I see it, the issue is the way that Lotus Notes reads the headers from one of the 2 webmail scripts. I will try it myself today from work, where i have Slow-tus Notes too... chuck Quote
