Mysql Database Backup By Email

okok i read the other threads, configured it all but i dont know what to type in the command box! Do I just type to path to the PHP script?

Which threads were you referring to ?

 

Do you want to have your mysql database backed up, and sent to you via email? Or just the email notification that it has been backed up?

You would type;

 

/usr/local/bin/php /home/yourcpanelusername/directory/phpfile.php

soz im completely new to this type of stuff

 

Im using dbsender actually.

I suppose I dont want to put it in the public_html area so where do I put it?

Also what would the direct PATH to it be where you suggest to put it?

In the thread where I found which tells me about configuring it, what do they mean when they said use the thing q-?

I use dbsender and created a folder at the same level as my public_html folder.

 

Then the path would be

 

/usr/local/bin/php -q /home/yourcpanelusername/directory-you-create/dbsender.php
