cherryo Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Hi, I had a client's domain name registered with you and it's expired but in the redemption period. (In other words, I don't have any access to it any more via the control panel or otherwise). Can I get it restored and what would be the cost on that? Thanks! You guys are always so helpful. Quote
TweezerMan Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 This is from the Domain Renewal FAQ: QUESTION: How can I renew my domain registration if my domain name is in the redemption period? ANSWER: We can assist in retrieving your domain only if your domain was registered with TotalChoice Hosting. If your domain was registered with another registrar, you must contact that registrar for information regarding retrieving your domain name. IMPORTANT NOTE: You will be charged a REDEMPTION FEE in addition to the charge for the domain registration renewal. It appears that the cost would be whatever a 1-year registration costs, plus the Redemption Fee. I did not see on the site how much that fee is, but I'm sure you can find out easily when you re-register the domain. Quote
cherryo Posted April 15, 2005 Author Posted April 15, 2005 Thanks for taking the time to look that up. Couldn't find it. Quote
