Windows Updates

Hey guys here's one :

 

I FINALLY got around to installing sp2 on the wifes pc.

 

It notified my right away that I needed a critical update so I said " ok ".

 

But it refuses to install.

So I went to internet explorer and the windows update there.

It said the same and so did I...... "ok".

 

It won't install.

It just comes back with:

 

" the following updates failed to install successfully"

windows xp kb886185

 

Ever see such a deal?

You can download the update and install it yourself manually from the MSKB article 886185 page (look for the download link under "Microsoft Download Center"). Maybe you'll have better luck with that.
