Here's Google's info for webmasters, and people have written whole books on Google optimization. My feeling is that people put way too much worth on Google page ranking. Want to be at the top? Buy a spot. Don't forget about the other search engines too. I get plenty of traffic from Yahoo and MSN and a bunch of smaller lesser-known guys. -Tim Quote
Deverill Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 Tim's absolutely right. Google does take time to get listed and links from other sites is very much necessary to have a chance. Google is indeed not the only game in town. Remember too that there are other methods of advertising too such as business cards, etc. Good luck getting listed - if you still have nothing in a month or two feel free to ask for help or if you have any other questions in the meantime just ask!
