Truth Or Virus?

Today I received the following email.

Dear user ts@mattbrent.net,

 

We have detected that your account has been used to send a large amount of spam during the recent week.

We suspect that your computer had been infected by a recent virus and now contains a hidden proxy server.

 

Please follow our instruction in order to keep your computer safe.

 

Sincerely yours,

The mattbrent.net team.

Now I don't recall ever setting this up to send messages like this. Does TCH automatically do it?

 

The interesting thing is that there was an attachment euhwg.zip. Norton Antivirus did not recognize it as a virus when I scanned it, but I haven't opened it because I'm still suspicious. Do you think it's a virus?
