AlphaJoe Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 How do you drop a database on the version of MySQL used here? I tried the normal DROP DATABASE command, but it is currently disabled. Is there another way to drop the database? Thanks, Quote
TCH-RobertM Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 Hi AlphaJoe, You would do this within CPANEL you would go to the MySQL Databases icon and in there you can see Delete Database hope this helps RobertM Quote

Just a note, though. You guys might want to put in a verification that checks to make sure you really want to delete the database. I accidentally deleted the wrong one, fortunately I had an export. While you are asking for verification and that would be nice. TCH has no control over the programs included in cPanel. So the responsible party would be the cPanel team. Quote
stevevan Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 I hate it when I do that too! As a suggestion, you might wish to use phpMyAdmin found in the "Databases" section of cpanel. Quote
