DigitalChick Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Hi all! I'm running OS 10.3.7 on my G4. I use GoLive v 6. I've never been able to connect to my ftp site using GoLive. I have no idea why. I posted here many months ago and got great suggestions, but nothing worked. No problem... I use Fetch instead. However, last weekend I reformatted my hard drive. I backed up everything... except my Fetch shortcuts. No problem again, right? Wrong. Now I CANNOT get onto the ftp site no matter what I try. I even tried on my pc, so I know it's not a Mac thing. I type in ftp.mysite.com. Then my username and password. But I get a time out! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... before I tear out ALL of my hair! Thanks! Julie Quote
stevevan Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 The first thing I'd suggest is to ask the help desk to verify your username and password and make sure everything is okay on the server. Quote
