Guest Namadoor Posted November 27, 2002 Posted November 27, 2002 Hello, I have been looking around at hosts, and I think this is the cheapest one for what you have to offer that I have found. I just have a few questions. 1. Is it possible to connect to upload to the server from telnet, or some other FTP program? 2. I have a domain name, and I like the company I am with. Do I have to transfer it? (I was thinking on just buying an IP address and pointing to it.) and 3. For the monthly transfer, I cannot afford to pay anything extra. Is there a way to 'shut down' your website when the transfer is up and the have it reopened the begining of next month, or anything like that so you don't go over? Thank you for your time. Quote
Head Guru Posted November 28, 2002 Posted November 28, 2002 We do not allow telnet, but FTP is fine. No need to transfer the domain name. Just repoint the DNS. Yup, we can cut her off and recycle it at the start of the new month. Thanks Quote
