JTey Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 If I build a site as a subdomain on my current domain with TCH: http://mysite.****, and somewhere down the road, I decide that I now want http://mysite.**** to become http://www.mysite.com, how is this done without violating the policy? Do I have to get a brand new hosting account separately? Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 Either that or a reseller account, yes. Quote
Joaquin Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 I'm not sure but would a redirect on your domain account for www.mysite.com to your mysite.**** hosting account be a violation of any sorts Thomas? Quote
TCH-Rob Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 I'm not sure but would a redirect on your domain account for www.mysite.com to your mysite.**** hosting account be a violation of any sorts Thomas? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes it would. All domains must point to your sites root. Redirects are a violation of our AUP. Quote
Joaquin Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 Opps, well there goes that idea, well hosting is cheap, I know this great place......oh wait... Quote
thehemi Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 Get a reseller account because you will only keep adding domains... Quote
