cbutler Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 awstat seems to have stopped logging at www.djpolitical.com, a client site of mine. The last update was 02/01/05. I haven't seen this behavior on any other websites, and the site displays properly in a browser. Any hints? Chris Butler Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 Please see TCH-Andy's response Thank you Moved for organization Quote
DWD Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 I had the same problem, no update from 1/31 to 2/4. I belive it was related to TCH server load. Appears all the stats were still collected though...so not a big deal. Quote
cbutler Posted February 7, 2005 Author Posted February 7, 2005 Folks... Thanks for your responses, but unfortunately, awstats still isn't working at www.djpolitical.com (Server 66). Changing the .conf file doesn't seem like a good bet, since awstats version 6.2 is running there (6.3 is safe). It's now been a week since the last update, so "overloaded server" probably isn't the culprit. Anybody know what steps I should take next? Chris Quote
TCH-Rick Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 Sometimes the logging service in CPanel stalls. Please submit a Help Desk ticket by clicking on the link at the top of this page and someone on the Help Desk can look and see what the problem is. Quote
cbutler Posted February 8, 2005 Author Posted February 8, 2005 awstats is reporting properly as of this morning, 02/09/05. I guess it was just a scheduling glitch, but things seem copasetic now, so thanks for the help. Chris Quote
