Pleasure to meet yall I just finnished building my site here, and I just need to add a gallery, But my clients want somthing they can modify or add to. In other words, I have to add a gallery as content to a framed site, but somthing with a user interface, where if the visitor has a password they can upload pics. I dont want somthing like coppermine, because I want it so stay in the frame. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Heres what I have so far: www.malchusisrael.com Click on gallery. Quote
TCH-RobertM Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 Hi Malchus, Welcome to the Forums, I am sure that there are many scripts available that you can customize to accomplish your task. I would start off looking at Hotscripts and see if some of those can be modified first. What I think you will need up having to do is create a Customer login with a database support, and then from there create the upload picture script, If you search the scripts there I am sure they have individual pieces that would do what your looking for. maybe some of the other Family members here might have some other suggestions as well. Many of the gallery scripts allow you to add to their headers and footer to copy the look of your site. I would look for one like that. Then you would not need frames. We really are like family here. LeeGoldsmith Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 Malchus I use Gallery on my site and I love it. Users can register and I have User galleries set up so they can post pictures there. I also have my albums and they are view only to anyone else. Very easy software to work with I highly recommend it. Lee Quote
