bwrwebdesign Posted April 9, 2003 Posted April 9, 2003 Any chance of this problem being fixed soon? Quote
TCH-Rob Posted April 9, 2003 Posted April 9, 2003 I am not having an issue with sending mail but I have to use my ISP's SMTP server. My ISP will not allow relaying. Is your outgoing mail server your domain SMTP or ISP SMTP? Kind of tough to answer as I am not sure of your Outlook settings. You may have to confirm with your ISP that you can use your domain SMTP and not theirs. Quote
Junior Posted April 9, 2003 Posted April 9, 2003 I send email out multiple times daily with Outlook. I use mail.****, and it always goes out (of course, '****' is replaced with my actual domain name). What kind of error are you getting? If it is a "Relaying denied" error, you have to check your email prior to sending any out. It you are getting a port blocked error, then you need to discuss this with your isp. Outlook works fine on our servers. Quote
