dhester Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 When I use to use the free counter offered by gostats.com, I was given an option of blocking my own ip from the counter. This was great since I'm constantly in my pages making changes and testing them; that option kept the counter current and not changing/counting because of me. I now use the counter script in my cgi center. Is there a way to keep it from counting my IP so that the count displayed accurately reflects the number of visitors? d Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 Sorry, not that I know of. However, you can use another counter that will not count your ip (as long its static). One I would recommend is GTCounter which you can found here: http://www.gtchat.de/download_misc_en.html. To see it in action, visit my page (jikrantz.se) and have a look at the bottom. Quote
