Buying Space Without A Domain Name

Hi all,

 

Been MIA for a while, but I'm still alive.

 

I want to buy a starter plan web package as a birthday gift for my husband. Trying to keep him off the streets, ya know?

 

Problem is, I have no idea what he'd want to call the site - as far as a domain name. I'd hate to take a guess and stick him with something when, for all I know he might have a much better idea.

 

I think it's possible to buy a plan and reserve domain name registration for later, but I thought I'd ask first. Can I do this?

 

Also, as this would be a surprise, can I have the welcome letter sent to me, then change his contact info later? I would like to order this today or tomorrow, but not have him aware of it until his birthday on 12/25 (yes, he's a Christmas baby).

The answer is yes you can. Pick any name, we can change it when he gets the right one with a ticket and we can do the same for the contact info as well.
